To apply chenille iron-on patches with a heat press, set the temperature to 325-350 degrees Fahrenheit, pre-press the garment for 5-10 seconds to remove moisture, place the patch, cover it with a protective sheet like parchment paper or Teflon, and then press with heavy pressure for 20 seconds. For a stronger hold, turn the garment inside out and press the back of the patch for another 15 seconds. Allow the patch to cool completely before handling. Do not wash with fabric softener, do not use super-hot water or high heat to dry as it will break down the adhesion of the patch.
